Time

It is late late into the night. "Past lives" plays on loop. Street lights, barking dogs, silence. I have grown accustomed to the new home. Convivence is lovely, and the indoor punching bag hits different. No car, no problem - I hope it's been put to better use now. This semester, we started off strong in many aspects but lacked in others. It's like they say, give a man the whole day to do a task, and he will take the whole day. Give him 3 hrs and he will take 3. The academic load is definitely easier, but my time management and efficiency has been lacking. Its fking 1 in the morning and i'm not asleep... why? Too much time wasted dicking around, I need to stay focused. I have taken great inspiration from Khabib lately (that man is a legend). He is the true definition of honor, hard work, and dedication to the grind. I will fix my sleep and remove all distractions. When we work, we work all the way. When we rest, likewise, we rest to the fullest extent. Damn these...

2023

Greetings to the Future, We are already a half month into the New Year, but I feel this one will be different. New year, new crib, new classes, new goals. The energy is different - less bursts of inspiration and more discipline. The goals of previous years have become this year's habits. All that hubaloo about lifting, reading, and etc. is default now. We will speak of such activities no more; those things are expected. This year is about building discipline and improving the mind. No more complaining, no more excuses, no wasting time, no more hesitation, no more fear. Take accountability for everything that happens in life. Take action. Try. Fail. Try again. Do what you have to do! I will dive into the concept of deep work by removing all the distractions around me. No more bumming around on that phone. I will show up early and leave late. Work hard. Ask questions. Stay humble and help others.  Here is the theme of 2023: Discipline, Discipline, Discipline, Discipline
