Ultimus Prime: The Strongest Transformer
I almost forgot about this blog.
Damn... I use to be so ambitious hahaha. Quarantine and these injuries really led me astray. well, i'm returning to my roots, no more trolling and shenanigans. Writing, reading, training, swimming, saxophoning, sleeping , eating, LETS GO!
probably need that knee fixed again though...
Here's a story - Ultimus Prime: The Strongest Transformer
Ultimus Prime was a young scholar and warrior who excelled due to his perseverance and desire to learn. He always sought the hardest paths in life (studying robotic-chemistry) with plans of becoming a robo-doctor. He was also a baller, this is relevant later. Honor was his greatest strength but also his greatest weakness. As with all warriors and their pride, he hated being pitied, to be felt sorry for, and thus, he always suffered alone.
The thing about Ultimus is that he saw life differently than his peers. Even during the cloudiest days, he could still the sun; his vision technology was probably just better. Is it possible to care but not worry? If so, then this is how Ultimus felt because he had already seen the future, he knew the ending, the movie ending was already spoiled to him. In the end... everything will be ok. Don't take life so seriously KEKW, cause you might not enjoy it anymore.
Anyway, Ultimus thought he figured out life. He was tackling tasks, making moves, life was on the high rise YEET YEET, but on one sunny afternoon, Ultimus was humbled -smited from his throne. While ballin like every other afternoon, one mis-step caused him to rupture his ACL and snap his meniscus. Damn life sucked that first week lol. For a few months the sun was gone (rona made it even worse), but this was Ultimus we're speaking of. He put his athletic endeavors on pause and sought to expand his mind. The sword was laid down for the pen. He suffered, he learned, he matured.
On path to a full recovery, Ultimus was almost dunking again after a year. Unfortunately, the Robo-Gods had something different in plan. He snapped his meniscus again doing some box jumps, wow... such a fragile piece of shiild;kfad;l. Yet to get that fixed, probably over winter.
Thus, he looked into other endeavors and he picked up volleyball. Less direction change and less movement - seemed like it was easier on the knees. He sucked. well to be fair, the whole team did - everyone was new though. It was fun at first competing with the young robo homies - Ultimus was smurfing and trolling. No idea how to play, no shits given, coming in with one knee. Sport kinda fun not gonna lie, but his knee was getting worse. Ultimus slowly showed up less, left early. This chapter, too, was also coming to an end. Thus... began the sage mode.
Ultimus dove into his studies like a madman. A burning desire to read again. Books, articles, EVERYTHING. Writing random shit is kinda fun too. Aye, this was a transformer... this was Ultimus Prime, a visionary. He knew something the world refused to see - the future, the ending, the final destination each individual is always the same. No matter the path, every transformer's life ends the same. Therefore, choose the light. Seek a challenging existence and enjoy every bit of it.
