2021

 This year I will be better.


Always seek to improve - this is the way of life. The goal never brings happiness, the destination never mattered in the first place. It's the process, the journey. Moving forward, traversing into the direction of improvement is what brings happiness. Doesn't matter if you fail because you will and it will feel like shit, but this pain is what makes you stronger. The pain of never trying, never failing, and never moving is 1000x worst. 

Speaking of failure, those legends are better than us because they have failed more. See that kid shooting for the NBA at your age? Ya, he's missed more shots than you. Got blocked more than you. See homeboy exceling in all classes and president of multiple clubs? Imagine the times he's been rejected and the elections he's lost. The humiliation and the failures built him up. Don't be afraid to fall; ignore the ridicule and let them see you fall - cause it doesn't matter. The reason someone is better than us at something is because they have failed more at it. They've grown more.

So for 2021, seek this. Improve by trying and failing. Try new things and fail at them. Improve, learn, learn, and learn. 

The MAN IN THE ARENA. "It is not the critic who counts, who points where the strong man stumbles." NEVER SNEER, FUCK PRIDE, they will never know defeat but neither victory.

Legends of the Fall

Greetings to the future, It has been a while old friend. My hiatus has finally come to an end, for I have found my way again. All is well in the world. I have found the path that must be walked. A reason for the struggle. An end to the road. A why. I have found it once more. I know what I want in this life. This dream now keeps me up at night and has me leaping out of bed before the sunrise. When we wander aimlessly, no amount of motivation can carry us through the storm. A ship with no direction will never reach the port.  I will do everything it takes to get what is mine.
