Raising the Bar
WE DID BOYS. FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!
We saw it through despite the amount of times I could've thrown in the towels.
But this feeling... its more relief than it is joy. Truth is... i'll miss the long nights, the toil. I'll miss the ups and the downs. The grind, the constant thought of working towards something.
HAHAHAAHA, but who am I kidding. The storm has passed, smooth sailing ahead.
I am truly grateful for my sensei (PI). During the process, I was pushed beyond expectations I never thought were possible. The standards were raised 1000 folds. (imagine my standard being a 100 foot tree, now imagine Mt. Everest) Towards the end though, it was all support. Truly inspirational.
Here's a piece of advice I'll never forget. If you ever have a presentation, a talk, or an interview, give the speech 100 times before you actually give it. Look into background information like Cyclops looking at Magneto. Go through every single line in that paper or slide. Make each phrase irrefutable, as accurate and precise as humanly possible.
bro... when you see how the GREATS prepare then you'll know. You'll see the difference, the attention to detail, the precision, and the countless hours of practice -with one goal in mind. Perfection. No wonder we're such peasants. They're OBSESSED! Their consistency.... their level of focus is unreal.
Therefore, I promise from this day forth (with extra hours on my hands now) I will be become one of them, the Jedi's.
