It's always motivational to see someone better than me. Whether it involves sports, school, work, character, or work ethic, the idea that a higher level is achievable is immensely inspirational. Yea watching Devin Booker annihilate the NBA playoffs is marvelous, but watching some rando named Russ finesse the entire gym in a pickup basketball game is 10x more motivating. Re-watching Arnolds story about becoming a bodybuilding legend is great, but seeing homeboy put in the work and make gains at the UREC hits different. You get that "I can do it too" vibe. Seeing people on their grind, whatever it may be, puts me in the mindset to GET THINGS DONE. There's nothing more badass than seeing someone focus on their purpose and not give a single fuck about anything else. Goals and ambitions are key; everything else is just extra. Keep ya head down and work on that dream.
