Keep it real

It's rare nowadays to see someone who is truly free. Someone who can say screw it all and do as they please. Stroll around with the swagger of Daniel Craig as James Bond or poke fun at the world like an old Stephen Chow movie. Someone who is truly free can seem raw in thought and coarse in words, but honesty can be brutal at times. Despite whether we like the individual or not, there is a certain respect that comes with (for the lack of a better term) not giving a fk. Free yourself. Say what comes to mind, be brutally in honest in thought and word. Defend what you believe in and voice your grievances. Yell, shout, and jump for joy. YEET!  Yet, with all this in mind, live freely but never lose your honor.

Main Character

The great Joe Rogan once said, "Be the hero of your own movie!" If the cameras started filming right now and the movie of your life just started, then what would you do differently. Imagine millions of people watching your life on the screen; all your ancestors rooting for you. Would they be proud? Would you watch your own movie or is it boring as watching paint dry?  Imagine the movie started today, and you are the average kid who wants to be destined for greatness. GO FOR IT. If you are not happy with where you are, then training arc this sht. Fix your sleep, eat right, study, and hit the gym. Look at Rocky, Tanjiro, and Saitama - they all trained their way up from nothing. Now to make the movie interesting, TAKE RISKS. It ain't a captivating story if you win all the time doing easy sht. That's some side character type sht. Attempt the impossible, take a shot at the titans. FAIL, FAIL AGAIN,  and KEEP TRYING (everybody loves an underdog, the comeback story). Rocky g...

Investments

When we talk about investments, most people think about 401ks, bitcoin, stocks, and crypto currency, but unless you have a sht ton of money, this is bull shit. There's no point investing in these accolades when your income is low because the return is minimal. Instead, one should invest in themselves and their skills. It is important to become an individual with many assets and skills that can be marketed.  Cash out those doge coins and apple stocks. Even if you get lucky and make like $1000, it really isn't that much when you can increase your fixed income by say 10k. Thus, take what ever money you would invest in coins and put it into your self improvement. Buy a gym membership to get your health right. Buy and eat healthier foods. Get blackout curtains to improve sleep. Go to your doctor, dentist, or ophthalmologist to get your body right. Buy books to learn new skills or even sign up for an online leadership course. Get the proper shoes so you avoid injury when hooping and ...

Routines

Recently, my drive has been fueled by short bursts of motivation, and this is severely hindering my progress. One's life goals cannot be achieved from external motivation, but rather, there must be a ceaseless desire to achieve. Discipline and consistency must become the bread and butter of everyday life. Thus, a fixed routine must be made. Sleep must be consistent; workouts cannot be missed; meals not to be skipped. One must not forget to schedule a fixed time for relaxation and recovery. Planned recovery is more restful than deciding to take a break off a whim. [i typed my schedule, but then, i erased it. nah i wont share it hahahahahahah]

To the future

Update: late night lofi music... ahhh (steamy jacuzzi vibes). I'm going to write a book. You'll see. Anyway, there is something important I must express: delayed gratification. Too often nowadays people are absorbed into the instant gratification wormhole. Tiktok, netflix, junk food, social media, and etc - all these honeytraps sap the dopamine from our brains. They provide immediate pleasure in little 6 second bursts, and thus, who the fuck wants to put in 10x the effort studying to receive half the dopamine after acing the test. I mean... no sht, it's obvious which is better but the dopamine is too enticing for many. The ability to sacrifice temporary pleasure for a better future is rare. Discipline will build champions. For instance, one cannot makeup a missed workout, but one can prepare for gratification by working out ahead of time. Train hard everyday and your rest day will be 1000x more restful. You can't be selfish. Workout now, study now, finish your sht NOW, ...

What Great Men Do

All great men have one trait in common: a time for reflection. They take a moment out of each day to recollect their thoughts; one could call it metacognition - to look at where emotions and thoughts originate from. Look at Benjamin Franklin, he journaled everyday and now, he is the face of currency. Mark Twain, Warren Buffet, Thomas Edison, Augustus, and many more keep a daily journal. In a way, it is like a progress checker to see what state of mind leads to success and what leads to failure. Thus, I will begin journaling everyday on this blog (except Friday and Saturday).  An update: Greetings Future Me, it is Tuesday night following Labor Day. The clock strikes eleven o'clock in two minutes and I must find 1900 calories to finish the day. It is like I'm in an eternal cut because I cannot bulk for shit (although I shoot myself in the foot by always skipping lunch and breakfast LOL). In truth, I have fallen astray these past weeks. I have been living the way that society deem...
