Time is fleeting

DAMN boi... where did all the years go? No but seriously - an elderly person told me today that 23 is a good age. If I had to restart life, I'd choose 23 too (but I AM 23, so lets start).

Before we begin the next year, let us recap the previous year. It is important to note that I will leave out material world successes and focus on what truly carries over in life: character & experiences. Actually, I choose to bury the past (maybe another time), for I am the product of every achievement, failure, personal growth, or lesson learned. Remember... i do it for you, Future me.

A wise man once told me 10x what ever goals you have currently set for yourself. I will fix my knees, I will dunk, I will fly from the nest (SOAR BABY), I will buy a house, I will fix my car (zoomies), I will learn to drive a motorcycle, I will eat healthier, I will learn to cook (viet food lol), I will read 30 books, I will read biographies (Theodore Roosevelt), I will play saxophone at the next level, I will learn to perform Hey Jude & Versace on the Floor (& love on the brain), I will write a book, I will improve this janky ass blog, I will get new hobbies, I will join a mixed martial arts gym, I will learn to fight, I will make new friends, I will find love, I will start a family, I will go to med school, I will become a doctor, I will buy my mom a house, I will travel to Asia & Europe. 

Damn what a list - future me will look back in 1 year and laugh

Legends of the Fall

Greetings to the future, It has been a while old friend. My hiatus has finally come to an end, for I have found my way again. All is well in the world. I have found the path that must be walked. A reason for the struggle. An end to the road. A why. I have found it once more. I know what I want in this life. This dream now keeps me up at night and has me leaping out of bed before the sunrise. When we wander aimlessly, no amount of motivation can carry us through the storm. A ship with no direction will never reach the port.  I will do everything it takes to get what is mine.
