Fireflies

Update: Today, I made an extraordinary rediscovery. I was about my daily sprints in the yard (didnt even run because my shins hurt for some reason, but I can finally perform side to side jumps with out knee pain). The sun was setting which led to the conclusion of evening exercises, but as the veil of shadows draped across the land, I could not believe my eyes as 10 million fireflies lit up open sky (hahahahah). Bruh they were EVERYWHERE; surrounded by blinking dust. In that moment, everything just seemed so peaceful. Shiiiiii... I would of caught more than one but the mosquitoes were protecting them. (the lightning bug was safely released to the wild)


Simple things can bring so much joy. A blast to the past.

Legends of the Fall

Greetings to the future, It has been a while old friend. My hiatus has finally come to an end, for I have found my way again. All is well in the world. I have found the path that must be walked. A reason for the struggle. An end to the road. A why. I have found it once more. I know what I want in this life. This dream now keeps me up at night and has me leaping out of bed before the sunrise. When we wander aimlessly, no amount of motivation can carry us through the storm. A ship with no direction will never reach the port.  I will do everything it takes to get what is mine.
