A tear was shed

 Dear Future Me,

I have a very moving and inspiring story to tell you. I humbly write this from the home of a kind-hearted family; "You Raise Me Up" by Peter Hollens runs in the background. The warm glow of the Christmas tree illuminates my face. I don't even eat watermelon, but I ate too much this evening. The story I tell you has NOTHING to do with me but someone I know... (in this scenario, im like Lockwood in Wuthering Heights)

This is the story of a young wolf, a boy who dedicated his life to something more than himself (his mother). He saw her suffering, but he was a just a boy. A heart too big; he wanted to do more. What can a boy sacrifice but his play? Yet when the intent is bigger than the action, even a small act will be seen. She saw; pride welled up in her eyes; a tear was shed... but her son will never know. A kind and selfless heart, she wanted him to be happy though. She told him not to suffer for her, but as a son, he cannot remove that weight; she is his purpose. A mother who wants her son to be happy, a son who wants his mother to be proud and suffer no more. A story seen too many times. She is proud, she still remembers and she speaks of you with pride :)

Yo D-, Be happy bro, your well-being brings her happiness!
