Redemption

Update: Greetings Future Me, I am 3 weeks into the new year, and all is well. Each day is filled with possibility. I will write more upon this soon, but today, I must write about a new development- the real story behind the fall of the iron soldier. I love me a redemption story. Turn on some Billie E

Over these past 2 years, bro always had it worse than me. For every struggle that I suffered, he suffered 1000. Though most were self-inflicted, it was needed. Each obstacle was a lesson to learn from, a curriculum that should have been taught long before. Bro's family had left town, his og circle was a line... of snakes, and he had no true mentor to look upon. A troubled up bringing that sought an approval that would never be given. Thus, clinging to anything and anyone, but trying too hard only pushes them away. Sitting there empty handed.

Humor was only an escape, a guise to appear happy. Surrounded by people but always alone. Bitterness ensued. Arrogance and disdain became the mask for insecurity and uncertainty. Bruce Wayne lifestyle with Peter Parker funding...but when you wear the mask for too long, it becomes hard to take off. Can't fake it forever though. Everything blows up in your face.

Now, you are sitting here at rock bottom in a pit that feels inescapable. At first you blamed the world for turning its back on you- for casting you away because you were not good enough.

Today Bro finally admitted... it was he who fked up. Two summers ago, Bro had woke up and said two lines that he would regret, maybe for the rest of his life. That's the truth.

Keep you head up Bro. I was giving the wrong advice this whole time - about showing them up and succeeding in spite of all the haters... The real theme is REDEMPTION and there were no haters. Succeed for all the people you have wronged.
