Billy Butcher

Harry truman, doris day, red china, johnnie ray, south pacific, walter winchell, joe dimaggio, joe mcCarthy, Richard Nixon, studebaker, televeision, north korea, south korea, marilyn monroeeeeee hahahahahah DAMN The Boyz is a good show! Yea it's super heroes, action, and comedy but.... it's also a huge satire about contemporary American culture. On top of all that, bro... the characters are all so well developed. Bro I wrote this whole spiel about the show's summary and message but nah (its just a bunch of rejects standing up against the corrupt heroes). This one goes out to Billy Butcher though. This man had the hardest path. Butcher lost his girl, his brother, his honor, his pride, his chance of a happy future... all to Homelander the ultimate superhero. The sad thing is that Homelander doesn't even know who butch boi is (at first but now the whole world knows now). Sometimes in life, we cant control the sht that happens to us, but we can control how to respond. Butch...

Traffic lights

Hello Future Me,     It has been a while (damn 2 weeks since the last!?). Ahh well I have been busy - sort of. Been trying to make myself at home (acclimation?); I love these huge ass windows. At night, its like the cover of a lofi single and during the day, fk i dont even need an alarm because the brightness wakes me up (even with the blinds down, shidd... we'll figure it out). Even the streetlights are crazy bright, but at least I get to save on the electric bill LOL. Not to mention... bruh this intersection never sleeps... people are out at the strangest hours (oh well who am i to judge). It is oddly satisfying to observe the lights change and cars zoom. zzz Im rambling, time to sleep     What's new is that everything is so convenient! Gym, groceries, school, literally anything (so close i cant even skip anymore) .... no more half hour commutes. The festivities are about to begin hahahaha! I also began my farming journey after buying some house plants (lets ...

Bring Me Life

Greetings Old Friend,     The warm jungle lamps illuminate the room as I listen to Pretty Boy by Joji - upbeat vibes compared to his other songs but still a tinge of reminiscing (just finished the dual monitor setup, lets see how this goes haha). As the dawn of our great journey approaches (with 3 weeks to go), I sit here with more zeal than a hundred rhinos. A sudden burst of passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has revived in me (Leandro Torreando is my current hero). Cold showers once more and guess what ... the knee is golden now AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. The new crib is nice too; way better than I expected - gotta make it more cozy though).  You know... I feel that sometimes the anticipation of a destination (both figuratively and literally) is  always better than actually arriving. DAMN I got so much planned, so much self-improvement habits that I will implement into life. Imma come in SWINGING - cook healthy, study hard, workout, new friends, new city! All the unknowns -...

Dog Days

Greetings Future Me,      I am listening to Sergy el Som do a piano cover of a song from Up (actually kinda catchy). Lamps are dim and a bowl of blueberries sits patiently to my right. Life is slowing down hard lol... it's them dog days. Recently, I have returned to my og training sessions in the yard, no more gym for a bit (them wind sprints hit hard). 9+ hrs of snoozin + eating good. I have also been practicing how to write and read the language of my ancestors.  I finished reading Dahle's White Coat Investor: Guide for Students . The financial books never really hit well with me, but the first 60% of the book was specific to medical and dental students on how to handle loans and how to live efficiently; I cruised through this section because it was applicable. In summary, it was choose the cheapest school, live frugally but do not sacrifice efficiency and quality of life, look for scholarships (including third party), and #1 is focus on school because the be...

A decision to remember

YOoo I've been thinking much this week. Probably too much and too early. How the deuce am I suppose to choose a specialty when there are so many? They are all so cool, but then, you gotta take into account lifestyle, salary, schooling, style of practice, and etc... I have been binging "Day in the life" videos and "73 questions" interviews on youtube hahahahaha. All these docs selling their gigs so well.  (your top 3 right now are bone eyes and hormones - we'll see if this changes lol)
